It has been a great week. And I hope I am not jinxing myself by typing that. ;)
Last Thursday I got to go to the 4th grade hoe-down with Tyler. I have never been coordinated, so square dancing (or any dancing for that matter) has always been a challenge. But since I've already been twice with Brandon and Spencer, I actually managed to make it through the night without embarrassing myself too badly. I had a lot of fun, and Tyler is just plain fun to be with.
Saturday morning we tackled some cleaning projects and got much accomplished, then we went to Spencer's basketball game. Great day!
Sunday was actually a pretty relaxing day with not a lot going on. Love it when that happens. The three youngest boys pulled out the play-doh and actually entertained themselves without a single argument for over an hour. They pretended they were running a restaurant and had to make orders for customers. When they were all done, Spencer took pictures of their creations.
Don't worry. Even though it was fast Sunday and they were starving, no play-doh was actually consumed. At least not that I'm aware of. :)
Tuesday my mom and dad came down and spent the day with us. Mom and I did some crafting and it was awesome. We need to do it more often! That night we went to an awesome Relief Society dinner where we got to listen to two sisters of Marjorie Hinckley talk about their ancestors. They were cute, funny, uplifting, and totally entertaining. A great night!
I did feel a little guilty that we missed Spencer's choir concert that night. We tried going to a dress rehearsal earlier, but didn't get to hear his group sing. Wes did tape it for me though.
Yesterday I ran a bunch of errands and cleaned house. Much needed!
Today my cousin Tami came over for our weekly craft day. We made some adorable hair bows. So much fun to be able to hang out with my mom and cousin both in the same week. Woohoo!
And the weather has been beautiful. Today was sunny and perfect. I can't wait for spring!!
