I have a tendency to use 20 words when five would probably do, so I'll not bore you with every single detail, but let me just say that we are in absolute baby heaven!!
We got the call Tuesday that we had been chosen by an amazing birth mother named Janette. That evening we brought our new baby girl back to our hotel with us. It has been unbelievable! She is absolutely beautiful and we are so in love with her. I swear she gets cuter every single time we look at her! We are naming her Rachel, and she has totally captured our hearts.
After waiting for six years, it is hard to believe that she is finally here. She is even more perfect than I ever dreamed. We are so very grateful for her, and for her angel birth mother. I won't go into all the details of how she came to be in our family, that is Janette's story. But I know that God had a hand in our baby girl ending up where she belongs. We are so blessed!!!

Whew! I have been checking this like six times a day. I know, I'm pathetic, but I have been dying to see more pictures and hear about what's going on. She is so pretty and I can't wait to see her in person! Congratulations!!!

I am so amazed by the strength of people like Janette. What an incredibly selfless and wonderful thing to do. She will be blessed for it.
Amazing Wes. I know you have been working at this for some time. Congratulations. I'm wondering if it wasn't somewhat surprising, or sudden though since you just got the call Tuesday about it.
