And I thought things would slow down when school let out

It has been a busy month at our house. Here's a recap:
Spencer graduated from 6th grade and will be attending Jr. High next year. Holey moley!

I went out of town for a weekend to a blogging convention. I had an amazing time and finally met some of my favorite bloggers in person. Totally awesome! And the boys all survived without me. ;)

Spencer turned twelve and became the newest deacon in our ward. He was ordained to the priesthood by Wes. Both sets of grandparents were able to be here. It was a great day!

We had a family reunion at Heber Valley camp the first weekend in June. I was in charge and a little stressed out the week before, so it was very low key. I hope everyone had fun, I know I did. :)

We got to spend some time on the lake:

And we went on a couple short hikes:

On one of them we found a pond full of tiny frogs. We watched them for several minutes, fascinated that such a tiny animal could croak so loud. It was amazing!

The food was great:

But some of us preferred to just eat dirt:

I planned several activities, but mainly we ended up just relaxing, visiting, and playing games together.

I think a couple of people even snuck in a nap, but I won't mention any names.

Last week Brandon finally passed his Eagle Board of Review. Hooray!! We are very grateful to all of his awesome leaders!
We will let you know when we hold his court of honor.

On top of all that, we also planted our garden, attended baseball and T-ball games every Tuesday and Thursday night, set up an adoption blog, combined my recipe blog and crafty blog into a website, attended scout day camp, and tied a quilt. Just to name a few. And I wonder why I don't have time to update this blog. Some days I just consider it a miracle that I can get everyone fed. ;)
