Happy Birthday Justin!!

I can't believe my baby is six years old today. SIX! Holey moley, when did that happen?

This morning I got to go to his class to read a story and share treats. His teacher gave him a candy necklace and a crown.

This afternoon my parents and my sister and her kids came down. He had a blast playing with his cousins. Afterwards, we had cake and ice cream.

He didn't ask for one, but we surprised him with a new bike. Yep, I think he liked it. :)

Happy birthday Justin!!! We love the heck out of you!!

Enjoying a bit of a breather

Things have slowed down a little at our house and I am really enjoying not running around like a chicken with my head cut off.
I had a fabulous time at the Women's Expo. Thanks to all my friends and family that stopped by to say hi. It was a long two days, but I had so much fun. I am so grateful for Wes and his support. Not only did he help me set up my booth, and stop by to visit me after work, but he kept the household running while I was away. Dang I love that guy!

After the Expo, I met up with some college roommates at PF Chang's. It's been a few years since we've gotten together, and it was great to see them all again. It's amazing how we can just pick up right where we left off, no matter how long it's been. Friends like that are just awesome!!!

Tyler stayed home from school again today with a stomach ache. He's been having them a lot lately, and we were getting a little worried, so Wes took him to the doctor while I was running kids around everywhere and trying to make dinner. Turns out they think he might have acid reflux, so they gave him a prescription. I sure hope it helps. I'm not a big fan of being on medicine long term though, so if it really is what he has, we'll have to look into changing his diet or something.

Guess Where I'm Goin'!

A couple of years ago I never would have dreamed I'd be doing something like this, but here I am. I was invited to join 7 other bloggers from Utah at the Women's Exp on April 23 & 24th. It will be held at the Events center at UVU in Orem. I'm really excited, it should be fun! I'm a little nervous that I'll make a total fool of myself during the panel discussion on Saturday, but it wouldn't be the first time. :)

Yes, we are still alive

I realize that it has been over a month since I have posted and some of you are probably wondering what the heck is going on. Lets just say that March was EXCRUCIATINGLY stressful. I am soooo glad that it is over!!

Life is still busy, but nothing like it was last month.

Rather than try to catch you up, I'll just pick up where we are now. Because I don't really want to remember March. ;)

We spent spring break in Moab with a group of friends. We left a yard full of snow and spent a glorious week in weather that was 60-70°. It was awesome!!

The boys had a great time exploring that hill/mountain/rock formation, whatever you call it.

Saw some amazing scenery:

Watched a few of our friends defy death at Wipeout Hill.

All in all, it was a fabulous spring break! Can't wait to do it again next year!
