Teasing the Elderly

Wes's party last night was lots of fun. We had to move it inside at the last minute because the wind was out of control, but it still worked out fine. One of our first guests was Wes's good friend Dave. He gave him a gift bag filled with gag gifts. One of the items was Depends. When my boys saw it, they asked what they were, and Wes told them they were adult diapers. He explained that sometimes when you get old, you can't control your bladder. They thought it was the funniest thing ever.

This morning when Wes walked into the kitchen, Spencer asked, "Hey dad, are you wearing your new diapers?"

A few minutes later, Tyler came up with this joke-
Tyler: "Knock, knock"
Wes: Who's there?
Tyler: Die
Wes: Die Who?
Tyler: Dia-pers.

Yah, I don't think they're going to let him forget that he's forty now.
